SchoolOffice (المكتب المدرسي) is operated by Taqniyat wa Hulul in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This policy describes the data we access, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. Data we access

• When you sign in with Google, we request one Drive scope, drive.file, which lets the app access only files it created or files you explicitly select. The app cannot see the rest of your Drive.
• Basic account information returned by Google at sign-in (name, email, account ID). This information is used during the sign-in session to identify you within the app, and we do not retain it afterwards.
• Data you or your school enter into the app to use its features.

2. How we use data

We use data only to provide the features you request. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or transfer it to third parties for marketing.

3. Google API data

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Storage and security

Your files are stored in your own Google Drive account, and we do not keep a copy of them on our servers. We take reasonable measures to protect any data we process from unauthorized access. Google access tokens are kept only as needed to operate the service.

5. Retention and deletion

You can delete your files directly from your Google Drive, or contact us at [email protected] for assistance. You may also revoke the app's access from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once access is revoked, the app can no longer reach your files, and the files remain in your Google Drive account.

6. Saudi data protection

We comply with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its implementing regulations, including your rights to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data.

7. Students and schools

The service is intended for schools and their staff. Users may store student-related information in their own Google Drive files. We do not retain or process this information on our servers.
